So...this is Blogger...
After seeing so many of my fellow wargamers setting up their own blogs with this site, I figured that it should be a great place to start. I have a personal blog up with LJ currently, but it seems to be best that I keep the two separate from each other for the sake of organization.
Anyway, as you can probably tell from the name of my blog, the focus of this blog is mostly about my hobby with tabletop wargaming, as well as any other random stuff involved with my hobbies. I'll be able to start off by giving you a brief rundown with my hobby obsessions. During my very first year in college back in 2004, I was introduced to a certain world-famous science-fiction tabletop wargame via its computer game counterpart thanks to one of my neighbors in the dormitory. I evaded the urge to actually play the game for a bit. However, once I transferred to a state school in 2006, resistance proved to be futile. I've been hopelessly devoted toward the hobby ever since.
One of the big things I'm currently into right now is building terrain for tabletop battlefields. However, seeing as how I'm currently a semi-independent college student trying to figure out how to budget food money, gas money and hobby money all at the same time, supplies and materials can be quite hard to come by.
One of the best ways I've been able to get around this problem was to scavenge for spare bitz and garbage that look remotely useful for the battlefield. Seeing as how the end of the semester is coming soon, I won't be able to post much within the next few days. I know; it's a lame move for me to do. I promise I'll be able to show what I have.
So yeah. If you haven't noticed by now, I tend to be quite vague when it comes to blog/forum entries. The fact I haven't gotten much sleep these past few days certainly hasn't helped either. I'll try and post some more as time goes by. Thanks for reading!
